This is an original article carefully removed from a 1956 magazine. It is an 18-page article and is 10 1/2"x13 1/2. Written by Jack Schaefer with photographs by Arnold "Real Bear" Newman. This article is about the Cheyenne, the Sioux, the Mandan, the Crow, the Flathead, the Navajo and the Apache. The pictures were taken in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Arizona. The pictures are of Native Americans dressed in 100-year-old costumes that replicate the look of these peoples at the height of their civilization and powers. The models are decendents of famous chiefs and current leaders of the tribes. A good article with great pictures. ($5.95 U.S. plus shipping and handling).
